Feeling fabulous for an important cause
Last February, sisters Holly Ottens and Candy Zivic along with Megan McWaters coordinated a black tie event to raise funds for Ovarian Cancer research and awareness. The evening, through the live and silent auctions, live music and delicious catering, all of which was generously donated, raised over $50,000 for Ovarian Cancer awareness and research.
Inspired by the concept of "Look Good Feel Better" (facing cancer with confidence, lgfb.org.au) the pamper and photo session package auction item for 2 people, included: a full body spray tan (by Jane Menzel), make-up (by Maddison Hook), hair styling (by Rosi Wendt Hair), manicure (by Carmel Buchheister, Polish Perfect Nails), white & red sparkling wine (by Julie Lecons of Road Map to Fitness and Spinifex Wines) and platter, prints & photography by Becc Vidovich.
The package was purchased by friend Kelly, who then donated this to sisters. We all had a lot of fun and Holly and Candy were terrific models which I feel the results show.
